Showgirl's is a moderate size, classy...
Showgirl's is a moderate size, classy club with friendly staff. Visited on a Saturday night around 7pm. It doesn't get busy until around after 9 or 10pm, but still there are enough dancers before 9 to get acquainted with. Average dancer will sit and talk with you and I'd say the range of quality is from 6-8. No true 9s or 10s. May have to go across street to Centerfold's if you want to see 9 or 10, but Showgirl's has "solid" 7s and 8s, which I find appealing and serves alcohol, which I also find appealing! Centerfold's is impossible club to sit in and get comfortable as it is really just more of a strip joint than a gentlemen's club, which is why I prefer Showgirl's.
Showgirl's has 3 dance areas: downstairs $20 single songs, downstairs $100 (3 songs), and upstairs (more pricey or during showtime, can get 15 mins for $100). As I said, there are some real solid 7s and 8s that are really friendly that make the experience worth it. Cover is like $10 before a certain time (7pm?), but after it is more like $20 or so. Beer (my drink of choice) is about $7. Of the 3 clubs in San Fran that I think of as "classy" in terms of setup (Gold Club, Showgirls, Larry Flynt Hustler), I think Showgirls has the best service from the staff, especially the waitresses. Gold Club and Hustler waitresses will tend to either forget about your drink order, ignore you, or both.
