Atrocious. Hadn't been in for a month or more, but went in this Saturday afternoon. It was awful: maybe 10-12 dancers working, and every single one was simply unpleasant looking. Lots of haggard looking, tired, worn out low mileage dancers, the barnacles that are still clinging to life here. The best of the had long since left, but even the tier 2 people who stuck around with less mileage the last year appear to be gone, presumably off to other clubs or simply different lines of work.
It was incredibly depressing seeing their faces up close: worn, old, in some case obvious and bad plastic surgery- one, Sadie, looked almost robotic like Robin Williams in Millenium Man. There were a lot of untoned bodies, saggy skin, drooping breasts, egg butt and the like. I was saddened by this rampant display of our human mortality. Strip clubs are supposed to be full of perky youthful women to make you feel young and vivacious again (even if they're just smiling for the cash in your wallet). But when they can't even offer that... ?
While the manager- someone I didn't recognize- only made one or two runs to the VIP area, there wasn't anyone with whom it would have been worth going back there. Several looked to be well past 40, and the few younger ones were simply boring trailer park denizen looking girls, too skinny or too chubby with sour, bitter looks on their faces. It's a tough time to be a customer there, and probably a tough time to be a dancer.
