Returned to Candy Bar after a couple years' hiatus. It looks like it's under the same management as Daddy Rabbits and Pure Pleasure. The layout and decor look about the same, not too bad since the last upgrade. The bathroom has finally been redone and is now civilized. The girls on shift weren't bad for a weekday afternoon -- all 5's or above, and few solid 7's. $5 was the cover, and I think I paid $5 or $6 for a Sam Adams. They're doing 2-for-1's now like the other local clubs. There's a menu of dance prices at the tables that lists about 12 different options starting with a basic $25 dance all the way up to something crazy like $600 for 20 minutes (these numbers are mostly fiction). Overall I was impressed enough to want to go back when I have more time and give it another shot.
