Everyone bored.

I tend to travel on tight schedules so I often visit strip clubs during the day and I’m used to things being slow. Walked into Paper Moon about two hours after opening without very high expectations and was indeed the only one in the club. No cover, at least. It’s a big open room, clean enough, but not very intimate feeling. One stage. There were a small handful of dancers there, maybe four, three white Eastern European girls and one probably Dominican. All a little long in the tooth, looking late 30s though probably younger and just living hard. Bodies were 7s-ish but all carried themselves in the most boner-killing possible way.

Everyone was bored to be there. A couple of dancers did some basic warmups on the pole, but nobody even bothered trying to entice me, though I looked good and had money to burn. The only one that even tried to chat me up just came up and asked if I wanted a dance with none of the usual flirt. Everybody else just on their phones. Had one drink and left, I think it was seven for a no-booze tonic water.

Maybe this is fun in the evening, but avoid during the day.
