I really HATE to give it...

I really HATE to give it a rating of 10, but when you see a very large very happy crowd with a large number of dancers at a club that is "happening," then it is time to put personal biases to bed. For you history fans and those of you who may remember this club under a different name here's the name history: Ecstasy, Baby Dolls, Expose Cabaret, Impulse, and currently Club Passions.

I visited the club just after 9 PM on Friday. The parking lot is well lit and too small. The parking lot was too small many years ago, but has shrunken since that time. It seems like the adjacent business built a small wall (large curb) that had the effect of reducing parking by at least 1/3. Anyway, the parking lot was packed so I had to park a block away.

Cover charge was $10. The music was LOUD! And, worse the DJ had this SUPER LOUD SIREN he loved to use for NO particular reason other than to try and hype the crowd. The crowd definitely seemed hyped so perhaps it was working. The lighting was fine--NOT too dark or bright.
