As I continue my survey of Seattle area clubs I should note that the general approach, if not the ambiance, is pretty standard. Usually more than one stage with a dancer doing one song and then moving. Prices for laps are set by the dancers and range from $20 to $50, with some performers having a sliding scale based on the “quality” of the interaction. Most dancers will discuss their price and rules beforehand. If they won’t, don’t. The girls also set their own work schedules, although there must be some controls to keep them from all appearing, or disappearing, at the same time. Performers pay the club $100 for each shift.
I visited Honey’s shortly after opening on Thursday. There were about six dancers working, and probably twelve by the time I left at 1:45. The layout provides less privacy than Rick’s or Fox’s, with restaurant style banquettes instead of high back “love seats”, but enough. There was conversation about a new VIP area, but the girls didn’t like it, so we didn’t use it. While there were a couple of overweight ladies, one of whom was attractive and quite frisky -- the other was downright scary -- the rest of the girls were svelte and a couple were gorgeous. No extra services were offered, nor requested, but I had a fun time with some pretty women.
