I travel to Newfoundland for work, and have visited this club a dozen times or more over the last 2 years.

The club is located on one of the town’s main downtown streets, but the businesses are all closed in the evenings – so it’s relatively discreet (something to consider when working in a smaller town). It’s an older building, and the bar is definitely dated in terms of decor. The cover charge is cheap at just 5$, and drink prices were also really reasonable. It’s really laid back – you’ll often have to go up to the bar yourself to get a drink. I suppose the good news is there’s no pressure to order more drinks or anything like that. I haven’t felt any pressure to tip the bouncers, but I have given them tips just the same (usually a toonie or 5$). It’s usually pretty quiet – like a dozen or fewer patrons – but I have been there on a few busier nights as well. I’ve never seen any trouble there in terms of fighting or anything.

The dancers really vary in terms of talent and looks, but on most nights there’s at least one girl who’s a 7 or better, and I’ve seen several 8s and 9s. No 10s yet. . Most of the local girls don’t have much dancing experience, but some of them have been pretty hot, and have that ‘amateur night’ appeal. The ‘imports’ tend to put on a better stage show. The stage shows are not that great, and there can be a long wait between dancers (sometimes just one an hour). So, it’s not a ‘showgirl’ type of place, but the dancers do get naked, and are not at all shy in terms of what they show you.
