I have been to Treasures many...

I have been to Treasures many times and this trip reminded me of what I love and what I hate about the place.

I come in the door and there is a huge lineup of people trying to get in. First, we have to pass through a metal detector, and after about a 10 minute wait, I get pass the door ($15 entry fee). There are a bunch of waitresses waiting right at the door, eager to latch onto customers. Fortunately, I see a waitress who is an old friend at the door. She is young, cute, and a lot of fun.

As we enter, you have to run a phalanx of dancers. This night there were about 30 dancers just standing inside the door waiting to grab onto any entering customers. As I glanced over them, I did not see too many that caught my eye. Even as the waitress leads me away to my table, three of them start following me, and asking if I want company. I shoo away all but the cutest one. She is an 8 in appearance, and initially seems quite pleasant.
