This isn't one of my favorite...

This isn't one of my favorite clubs because I had a very negative incident there about a year ago. I had spent practically the whole night at the club. Usually I like to go early, get dances, and leave fairly early, but the doorman kept urging me to just wait and relax because tons of hot girls would be coming. What a load of crap. I was there till just before closing time and it was the same 3 ugly dancers the whole night. They even stopped the stage dances because NO one wanted to watch. I don't think there were ever more than 4 customers at one time and if possible they seemed more bored than me. I really felt like the club should have been paying me for staying. I nursed a single beer (two drink minimum) the whole night--I come to buy dances NOT drink. So I wasted the $5 cover plus $1 for parking plus the $5 for the beer and tip plus who know how many $1 tips for these ugly dancers. By the end of the night after I had given up the door man apologizes profusely saying the girls usually show please come back the next night because there are some super hot girls--he said this with a ton of conviction and I'm an easy sell. I come back the next night pay another $5 cover and $1 parking and go to the bar to pickup a beer. The female bartender goes nuts yapping about how I'm "NOT going to get away with" buying a single drink again and she demands I buy two drinks upfront. Screw that sh*t so I just walked out in disgust. She was well aware that the night before was a total disaster and dancers were really sad. The doorman wanted to know what was wrong and when I explained he was like its my loss. Damn straight it was my loss--an entire night wasted and then a nasty confrontation and I did even get see a single cute girl.

So you may ask why in the world would I go back? After all there are a ton of excellent clubs in Miami. Be happy I wasted so litte money on Secrets and move on. Well, the manager at Angel's Nude Entertainment, Stanley, got canned. He is now the assistant manager at Secrets and I wanted to stop by to say hello and let him know that the girls at Angels wanted him back big time. So I got to say hi to Stanley and shoot the breeze, get info on the dancers. He was trying to promote a newbie he hired because in his opinion a girl totally new to strip scene is worth checking out. BTW, he likes to spend $$$ at strip clubs also. Anyway, the newbie didn't have a hot enough body for me so I passed . . .

I wanted to spend some time so I could try and give the club a fair review. The music is way too loud for my tastes. I actually like talking with the dancers. Fortunately, there was a cubby hole for a pool table. It is very difficult to play pool because the walls crowd-in on the table. It is too brightly lit, but at least there is a reprieve from loud music. The dancers don't care for it because it is too brightly lit.
