Hadn't been here for a while, but Archibald's doesn't seem to change much--it's a real institution. Arrived a bit before shift change on a Friday, and the place was more crowded than usual. It didn't seem like the patrons were tipping very much, though. Dancers seemed much more appreciative than in the past if they got a few dollars as a tip. They also seemed friendlier than I remember--seems like the Eastern European girls have moved on, who were much more aloof. The current shift was much more open to sitting with a patron and talking, and even giving hugs and such. As always, this place is really more of a neighborhood bar where women just happen to take their clothes off. The dancers are better-looking than ever, the vibe is relaxed and fun...for DC, you really can't do much better. Again, only stage dances and no contact (although some girls get very, very close...), but it's still a great bargain for a good time.
