My wife and I visited the Platinum Room on a Sunday and Friday night in September. I was charged a $10 cover which included one drink (typically $9 each). There was no cover charge for my wife. The club has a meandering stage with several poles surrounded by reasonably comfortable chairs stage side and couches behind. The bar is adjacent to the stage. The lighting was good, not so dim that you bumped into things, and the music was not deafening--all in all, a comfortable experience. Sunday was very slow. We were the first patrons entering around 11:00 with no dancers on stage. But as soon as we sat and ordered a drink, the stage manager stated things up with two girls on stage with staggered starts. Friday was more active, but given the slow season, the club was far from busy. All the girls were attractive, mostly eastern European with some Latinas. Some of girls danced well using the poles, but others seemed uninterested and barely walked around the stage.

Unlike many US clubs, there is no big dollar parade or any big pressure for private dances. This latter point proved difficult since we would have preferred an offer or two as the evening progressed. With some action on my part however, we were able to recruit a private dance (fully nude) both nights. Dances are typically $20 per song but as a couple we were charged $40 per song. I would have preferred a compromise price, say $30, but you pay the price asked. The official rules are like you would find in most US clubs with a bouncer type guy stealthfully wondering about. But, as in the US, the individual dancer sets the final rules. We had two great sessions with plenty of attention paid to each of us and plenty of contact (especially on the very slow Sunday with Julie).

On the whole, we had a good time both evenings. The place was comfortable for couples with no problems. On Friday evening I counted three parties comprised of couples, so it is not a rarity to the club. We will definitely return on our next visit.
