The Brass Rail advertises itself as...

The Brass Rail advertises itself as the largest men's club in Silicon Valley. This may or may not be true, depending on your definition of "men's club." The building is divided into two different sections: the bar and a separate dining area. The bar is spacious, decorated like a sports bar complete with several HD screens showing various sporting events. There are three stages, one main stage and two smaller ones. During my visit, I only saw one in use. I did not go into the dining area, so I do not know if there is dancing or a stage there. The interior, including bathroom, was neat and clean.

I arrived about half an hour before noon. There were a couple of girls in costume already, sitting at the bar and talking. Other girls were still in street clothes, also talking. I have to admit that the girls that I saw were extremely good looking, even in street clothes. The atmosphere was cordial, but not too friendly. It was like any corner bar before noon: you were either a welcome insider, or just some stranger buying a drink. The bar staff was professional, but not enthusiastic. It took about forty-five minutes for the dancing to start. The DJ put a softcore video on a couple of the screens and one dancer came out to begin her set.

Jessie is the main reason the Brass Rail gets my positive review. Maybe it was the time of day, but she was very attentive, giving me a good show, including some very interesting teasing. She is a white girl with dark hair, coming across as a girl-next-door type. She wore a thong and a matching camisole, neither of which came off during her set. The set only lasted two songs, but the dancing was very nice nevertheless. The tables which surrounded the stage were set back about a foot, discouraging any kind of physical interaction, including many of the more interesting forms of tipping. Unfortunately, because of the long wait before the dancing, I had to leave before I could see a second dancer.
