So..time for my quarterly review (belated, though it may be)..Times are tough for Desperado's..Drilling rigs are down and the oil service industry is verrrry slow, but management at Desperado's continues to hurt their business and their customers by pushing the $15.00 dancer drinks and the $40.00 lappers.

It's not New York, guys and the it's not the late 80's and early 90's where everything on an expense account was approved..that's not happening anymore.

The turnover in dancers is pretty high (this both good and bad) and the big push is on for the VIP rooms. Now, if you are a regular, the VIP membership is a good bargain..free drinks, special section for seating and no charge for the VIP private area (make your deal with the dancer).

All in all, I still really enjoy going to this club, the bar staff and the managers are nice people as are most of the dancers (those that I still recognize)..but it's expensive. If you've got the money and the time, good times are there to be had, but definitely bring the wallet and leave the atm card at home.
