This place is not really a "dive" and not quite a "clip joint," but its as close to either as you will find in Richmond. Its only redeeming feature is that it can be walked to from a few of the major downtown hotel (the Omni is closest). The dancers tend to be younger than at Paper Moon or Richards, but generally less skilled at dancing and almost no personality skills whatsoever. Unless you are stuck downtown and don't want to spring for cab fare to Paper Moon or Richards, skip Club Velvet (and if you are too short of cash for the cab fare, I doubt you'll have much of a good time at CV anyway).
