I went to the Admiral for my birthday at the suggestion of a friend and the bottom line is that it wasn't worth the drive out to Pulaski from my place in River North. Aside from the haul, the place was pretty empty (surprising for a Saturday night around 10:00pm), the dancers were only average and there weren't very many which made it tough for my group of 10-ish people to get attention (and there were 3 chicks in my group, which usually acts as a dancer magnet) and the place was too well lit. On the bright side, since it was empty-ish, we got good seating so at least the stage show was enjoyed by all. The other thing, which could be a positive or negative depending on your opinion, is that they didn't serve alcohol but they allowed you to bring in your own (and there's a liquor store nearby). Personally, after the 30+ minute cab ride and general let down we felt about the place, nobody wanted to put in any more work so we just sat there, soberly, debating about how long we needed to stay to make it worth our while for a round trip commute of more than an hour. Chicago strip clubs are generally pretty lame but this one was below average even for the Windy City. You're better off going to VIP since it's more convenient, they have hotter chicks, they serve alcohol and they provide a good champagne room experience - you just need to come to terms with the pasties.
