Anyways... This location was recently...

Anyways... This location was recently bought by the owner of the Southern Exposure locations, of which their are two others in the state. One of the dancers, a pretty brunette, told me as much and encoraged me to visit one of them because they're "upscale". Well, when I was there this one was in the process of being remodeled. To which the carpeting was half-way down with the carpeting edge being duck-taped to the plywood. The wall mirrors were only half-way hung. The stage wasn't so much of a stage as a pit.

With the downtown being zoned a historic district, the club couldn't be on the first floor. What that means is entering through a single doorway from the street up a rickety set of wood stairs. At the top is a door and buzzer with a one-way bank teller window on the wall. The teller window is one-way glass. The little teller transaction slot opened upon my arrival at the top, and a voice said "Id please." I slid my id through the little slot not knowing whether I'd ever see it again. Well, it got returned and then the voice said "$5". That's the cover. I slid the $5 spot through the hole and the door opened. What was coming???

Quiet night with about 8 dancers and maybe 7 or 8 customers at any given time. The pretty brunette and Aries, a good-lookin' blond, were wringers brought in by the owner to boost the club's appeal. Pretty brunette stated she had been dancing in competitions for 8 years and it showed. Aries, could gyrate with the best of em. The rest of the crew wasn't much to write home about. Not bad, but not worth the trip.
