Reviews are true… it’s expensive for WV

I drive through this town about twice a year. I stopped in once about 2 years ago in the afternoon to check it out. The vibe was off (a couple girls just sitting around with little interest so I left. This time, a few Sundays ago, I stayed in nearby hotel so I gave it another shot at night.

The parking lot is private. You drive through a gas station entrance and up a hill. Since it sits on top of a hill overlooking several businesses and a busy road it feels safe. When you enter there is a small hallway with a tiny window to your left when you walk in. You have to hand your ID to someone you can’t really see for scanning. After paying, you are met at the door where you’re checked for weapons, and then enter.

Inside, the main bar is to your left. To your right opens up to a large, elevated stage surrounded by small tables. Perhaps on weekends the stage is hopping with dances, but on a Sunday night, no one is over there.
