Dropped by Lace with a group...
Dropped by Lace with a group of friends on a trip to New York. It was much smaller than I would have expected, and the layout was very diffused. As I walked in, there were small side "stages" to the left and right, on which dancers very slowly shook their hips and stared into the distance (ocassionally catching the eye of a patron and staring a hole through the back of their head). The "main stage" was actually just as small as the side stages, and at the back of the room. As a consequence, most patrons had a better view of the side stages than the main stage. The girls ranged from older and fake to smaller and athletic.
I received two lap dances. The first, from a friendly petite brunette, was very brief and robotic (every 20 seconds or so, she would back away and slap her ass in a mechanical fashion -- not a turn on). The second was from a blonde eastern-european type, who really knew how to work her hips.
Drinks were expensive, as you might expect. I made the mistake of asking for "just a water" and not specifying tap, so I was stuck with an expensive bottled water. The waitress was about what you would expect -- she tended to disappear for a while at a time, but was fairly responsive when you actually got her attention.
