Was in town over the weekend, so decided to visit Solid Gold. Hadn't been there in awhile and things were pretty busy. The admission fee was $10 and you had to buy 1 drink when you enter the club. It was around 11:00pm when I arrived, so the place was crowded and a lot of girls were working. The had all 3 of the stages going and the VIP dance areas appeared to be busy. Apparently the bad economy isn't affecting the club much. There has been a good bit of turnover in the dancers since my last visit, since I didn't recognize many of them. After watching the stages dances for awhile I ask a petite blonde for a VIP dance. She had several tats, but not too many. I believe her name was Charlie and she was a good dancer. The mileage was good and she seems to enjoy her work. The bouncer makes you stand outside the VIP dance area until the song starts. So several seconds of the song are gone before you even get to the dance area! All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will probably visit again the next time I'm in town.
