The Score is the Scores that...
The Score is the Scores that is not a Scores. It's smaller than other locations on the interior, but still has the upscale touches here and there. It has a juice bar, which is a little surprising. I wouldn't have even thought it was part of the chain until I asked. Anyhow, the girls were what you'd expect from a Scores, but a little less plastic than the other spots I've seen in Baltimore and Las Vegas (now Rick's). I've heard good things about the one in NYC, but the sheer hassle of getting around that town for limited return keeps me out of it. Hot Lap Dance almost had enough hype to get me there a little while back but it got raided right before my business trip. So yeah, The Score. One knock on the joint is the parking situation, but it's not as bad as the sorry state of parking at Scores Baltimore and the guys out front can be reasoned with for a tip. Not that big into valet parking, especially with the rentals. Parking's a minor hassle, though, unless it's a busy night.
The stage is a little small for the size of the club, so there's a lot of open space. There are fewer tables than you'd expect, too. If the place gets busy there are probably a lot of guys standing around the floor. But really, for an alcohol free zone it's about as cool as it gets. I got a few very nice shows stageside, even after one guy got sick of me monopolizing the girls and pulled up at the tip rail, too. Look at it this way, some places you go charge x amount of dollars for a table dance and for about $5 you get all that and more at the stage (if you get a live one). I rarely do table dances for that very reason. Where this club set itself apart, though, was the dances. Full nude, flat out hot and heavy dances on the long benches around the back of the club. Took a tall, slender but superstacked black dancer for what turned into about an hour. The benches are behind a wall, but there are pretty large windows in it so it's not totally enclosed. It could have been a good night, or just a slow one, but every song was a two or three for one and the gal I was with lost track. After a few she just kept dancing until she was ready for more fun in the VIP.
The VIP area is a little round room in the right corner of the club that has an old fashioned chaise in the center of it and benches along the walls. The space is open to the main floor, but the back of the sofa is facing the club so it turns out to be pretty private. During the set (it starts at 20 minutes) the DJ turns the lights low so again it's pretty private. And fun. No floaters so it's up to you and the dancer to decide how it's going to be. I had no complaints at all, other than the lights coming back up just as things got interesting. It was the full time, though, so again no complaints. Turns out she was heading to Vegas, too, so the plan was to hook up there. I should know better by now than to make plans in advance for any town with the flagship Spearmint Rhino and Olympic Garden in it...but that's a different story. This club is cool. Got free passes here, too, and the staff was top notch. Check it out.
