This is clearly the chic spot...

This is clearly the chic spot now in TJ. The good news is it lives up to most of the hype. And if it's not your cup of tea, it is only two or three doors down from the venerably naughty Adelitas.

Last time I dropped in HK there were between six and ten dancers on multiple stages at all times, and two in back wearing nothing but whipped cream and each other. Somebody said in their review that it was shaving cream. Couldn't tell you for sure because I wasn't going to taste it to find out. Speaking of that, the girls are friendly here. Very friendly here. They'll reach for you, grope you, kiss you (if you let them) - basically do whatever they can to get your attention while dancing on the lower stages, and will step right off to go with you from any of the stages. I'm skipping ahead a bit but there are so many reviews for this place springing up now someone else will cover it all.

When I walked in I was impressed. From the reviews, Amnesia down on Revolucion was supposed to be the best looking club in town (and it does have an upscale look it) but for my money this place had the best combination of talent and ambiance. Adelitas is still my favorite club around because if given the choice I prefer laid back to flashy. When busy Hong Kong is about as manic as you'll ever see a club. Stuff was going on everywhere, and it was both packed and spacious at the same time because the bodies were constantly moving around. The place has split levels and really has an edgy, modern layout. They had a stage wrapped around a pillar up front that doubled as a standing bar so you literally had girls dancing around your drinks for a pretty cool effect. Most bar dancing I see nowadays is just a slow crawl for dollars.
