When we finally managed to get seated after an hour or so, I just wanted to just sit and observe for a while, but a couple of dancers plopped down on our laps the second we sat at our booth. I got the impression we were being tagged so that we couldn't sample the variety, but as it turns out they just wanted to chat for a while, which was a nice surprise. We'd offered to pay them for their time, but they wouldn't take the money.

After they left, people in our party bought several dances from around a dozen or so contractors, with varying amounts of interaction, but all of them were a lot of fun. There was zero hustle to head to the VIP room, and we didn't partake.
