Just a small update. At this point, pretty much anyone who knows what Rick's used to be like, knows how it is these days.

While post-RAID (what was that, 8 months ago) you can't get more than a HJ, it's still a hit-or-miss thing. Went in on a recent Friday afternoon, and one of the few "sure things" left wasn't working. Had one girl- don't remember her name- give me two dances, super low mileage, then try to convince me that I owed her $30/each when we'd agreed to nothing. No dice, lady. I also got dances from an older woman, brunette, kind of worn looking went by the name of Adele I think; moderate mileage, but lackluster in the looks department. Also danced with Maxxx; the dances were lame, not only were they tame but she pretty much just stayed with her back to me, doing the same few moves. Crappy, crappy dances; the only reason I even gave her a chance was because someone on the SCL boards some months ago claimed she gave them a BBBJ, and I figured there was an outside chance she at least offered HJ. Nope! But then again, those boards can't be trusted too much- all too often the posters are management at Deja Vu, trying to stir up trouble, or make people think all the hot dancers that used to work at Rick's are now conveniently at the Deja Vu clubs. I was surprised when someone said on SCL recently that Wednesday had finally left- which is odd, since I thought she'd left ages ago! I always like Wednesday on those rare times when I'd see her...

Seriously dudes: where are the reviews? Where have our old favorites gone? I never read trip reports of someone saying "Such and such dancer is now working at ____" or "Such and such dancer is now advertising on Craigslist as ____". They didn't all just get jobs as teachers or nurses, so if y'all know where the good dancers- the hot ones, the dirtier ones- are at these days, do tell. I don't see any of the old regulars but a couple of the most worn out on the rare times I go in- me and my wallet would love to know where to take my business. :)
