This seemed like two places in one – a working class bar/pool hall combined with a moderately upscale strip club. I was staying in the area overnight while on business so decided to stop in. I had seen “White Marsh†in the address, so I was thinking it was near the White Marsh mall off of I-95. Turns out this place is on the other side of the interstate, literally on the wrong side of the tracks, along old Highway 40 - think salvage yards, tattoo parlors and XXX video stores (do people still buy those?).
Place was pretty crowded for a Monday evening. Turns out that Monday is dollar beer night, with no cover. Clientele was a little rougher than I’m used to, a mix of young blue collar types and older biker guys, I was definitely out of place in my business casual, but other than a couple of over friendly guys asking how I liked my lap dances I didn’t have any trouble.
The club is centered on the large bar, with seating along the bar and a few tables against the side walls. Past the bar are the pool tables and video games. Bartenders are young and cute (mine was wearing braces) and dress in Hooters style outfits. The stage is actually inside the bar, so you can’t tip the dancers directly during their dances. Instead dancers make the rounds after their set to pick up tips. One plus was no annoying DJ, girls just pick their own songs off the jukebox.
