It's been a while since I've reviewed this place. I get over here every once in while. Not as much as I used to, but enough to remind me why I've had this club ranked in my Top 10 for so long.

I've thought about dropping it down a bit, since it isn't the flashiest of clubs and though on the upswing doesn't necessarily have the hottest dancers around either. The club with the top dancer quality in town is down the street at Gold Club, and just on looks I'd put Players Club on par with Hustler Club (on The Block) in the talent department tied at #2. Where the club has set itself apart over the years is in the customer service department. Showcase in Beltsville had it for a while before the old guard mostly disappeared and the customer base went South, though I still like that club in an "old time's sake" kind of way. Even on a busy night here you can get a girl to drop by and chat (if that's what you want) and there won't be a huge amount of pressure for a dance. Eventually you'll get the question. If you decide you don't want a dance, they might ask you if you're sure and then wander off. There's only one of the top dancers that'll tend to lead with "wanna dance", but it's hard to knock her because this blonde is the club ace right now in back and stays busy. The top girls on a crowded night as expected will bounce from guy to guy, but if you get their attention (and indicate interest) they will get to you eventually if time doesn't run out.

It beats other clubs where once the top girls hit their quota they evaporate faster than hot water on a freezing cold night.
