Visited the Pink Pony on a...

Visited the Pink Pony on a Monday evening, 29 Dec. for the first time. No cover charge at 6 PM and bottled beers were only $2. Found the club to be fairly large and very nicely furnished, with a large stage at one end and a bar at the opposite end. Had a VIP room but did not see where it was located or try it out. Did not see any waitress during this visit, so you had to get your own drinks from the bar. Only had two dancers working and a skinny girl jumped on stage during a lull and stripped – found out later she was an off-duty dancer. Would not rate any above a 4 or 5. Dancers did two song sets and were topless on the second song. Found the stage area very poorly lighted which made it very difficult to see dancers from anywhere except at seats lining the stage. Did not sample any laps or inquire about prices or VIP prices. Don’t know if I hit the club on a bad day or at a bad time, but it was not one of my better club visits. With the clubs appearance and cheap beers, believe it bears checking out one more time on a different day at a different time before making any final decision on the clubs potential.
