It's surprising how many of the girls are still working here - it suggests that Rick's can make a decent living even as a clean(ish) club if they have to. I guess I thought there would be a giant migration of dancers away from this place with all the negative LE attention, but a lot of the old crew is still making ends meet there. I imagine there's a lot of pressure on the dancers as the economy grows steadily worse around them, but my visit seemed to be a lot like a visit to the Vu. Management vigilance is definitely way up, and there are definitely less dark places to hide away from prying eyes, but there remain pretty girls to get a dance from, if your expectations are low enough. I wouldn't make it a regular stop any more, but every now and then a little jiggle and giggle is all you need.
