Hadn't been to Smiles in years...

Hadn't been to Smiles in years and decided to check it out after repeated visits to Pumps and the endless Russian dollar trains that go there only led to disappointing outings. The Smiles bar is L-shaped and has an pool table area. We stopped in around 8PM and parked ourselves at the corner of the L in the bar. That way you get a good view down the shorter length of the bar and across the long portion. It just so happened to be near the cash register of an extremely hot bartender (Jen) who was very personable and made the night more entertaining. There were 3-4 dances with excellent bodies and faces (7-8) and there were also 3-4 dancers who had no business being on stage. The bar has a lap-dance area in a back room filled with about 3 plush, yet very worn leather chairs and a I believe a leather sofa as well. No booths, it's just an open room in a corner of the building - likely an area where they have bachelor parties since the room also had a bar but was unmanned at the time.

The dancers were not pushy and engaged in conversation with you. One dancer, a Russian who knew English very well and had a nice athletic body made use of the long handle bar bolted to the ceiling above the bar and walked her way around on the bar, using the handle above to keep herself steady while visting each patron for an up close friendly encounter. I had not seen that approach in years and you could tell that is was definitely appreciated by the clientele at the bar and very effective for the dancer - she gathered $2-3 per patron with the special up-close personal attention she displayed, and you didn't mind it because she knew how to interact with her customers unlike most of the Russian automatons taking dollars with their hands. The other dancers were American and Latin-Hispanic. Jen, the adorable 25 year-old blond American bartender with a tight dancer's body had an ass you could bounce a quarter off of that she couldn't help but show you now and then as she flipped up her short skirt to reveal each perfectly rounded butt cheek. We only stayed about an hour and you probably wouldn't want to stay much longer but Jen made the whole time entertaining as well as the few hot bodies that were there. Let's face it, in northwest Jersey, there are slim pickings and although you still had to navigate around the chubsters who were making the dancer poles strain and the floor boards of the stage cry out in pain, overall with the help of Jen and a few friedly dancers Smiles exceeded my expectations for the area and would be worth a return trip.
