My one-time favorite club, which slid into the pits this spring after the change in management, is back at the top of the charts again. Biggest difference, the PITA bartender/manager is now history. With her gone, the atmosphere is very much Old Trop again--laid back and relaxed, without the bullshit rules. No more bouncer sticking his head in the VIP area. In fact, the VIP is now more private than ever, with curtained-off cubicles. As a consequence, the attitude of the girls has become much more friendly and relaxed--the way it used to be. The club is now open until 2 AM seven nights a week. The liquor license has been restored. Door charge is now gone too, though the VIP fee is still in place. ($10 a night I think). I won't give it a "10" because the quality of the lineup is uneven, as always. Once again, this is about as much fun as you can have in a strip club. Well worth a visit.
