Actually that rule has been around for sometime now. No plain tshirts and no gym shorts. I've been tripped up a couple of times by it. Usually if your shorts touch the top of your knees they'll let you in. Khakis shorts work too. Usually the daytime they let you get away with it sometimes, but at night time they're pretty strict about it. Honestly if your looking for more contact there are other clubs nearby that will do.
