This is one of those strange...

This is one of those strange circumstances where I can't really recall why I gave a club a decent rating. I remember being there, remember how the place looks, remember the bartender being a real jerk but that doesn't add up to an 8, 8, 7.

The place looked pretty good on the inside. Reminded me a little of the look and feel at Riviera Cabaret with the layout but much nicer. Had dueling stages that faced each other about 15-20 feet apart but they only had one going. Both stages were laid out nicely, and the main one had a pretty good setup for tipping and keeping track of your money and drinks on a lower railing. Maybe some of why I liked the club is starting to come back now. At the time the show was full nude or at least peek-a-boo, but rumor has it all the clubs in the city have been bikini'd now. The couple of sets I stuck around for had high energy and I didn't mind putting out a little more than usual from stage side.

The drink was ok. Priced reasonably and not watered down. Bartender had a bad attitude, but that might have been partly due to my asking how to get to Chics down the road. Still, I'm spending money at your place so lighten it up a bit. The ceiling was a little odd looking, but thinking back on it I guess it didn't really detract it just seemed out of place with everything else. The asian-style lions on the second stage were a nice touch, and while I'm still not exactly sure why I rated the place so highly the night I was there I won't say it didn't earn it. Maybe next time I'll opt for water at the bar...
