The routine at Teddies has become quite consistent. You walk in, pay a $5 cover, and get frisked. The bouncer now seems to tell you how many girls are working and reminds you there is a two drink minimum. There seems to be a concerted effort to make sure you adhere to that minimum.

They keep the dancers moving onto the stage, so there is usually a moderately attractive girl dancing. Expect eight to ten girls working. Expect a couple of them to be older South Americans with big breasts, a couple of Dominicans on the lower end of the looks scale, one or two younger attractive hispanic girls who would rate at least a seven on most people's scale, a few 30-ish Spanish girls who are very well worn, possibly one local skank. Actually, with the exception of the occasional younger girl who just started, they are all well worn.

Once you order a drink, you will be approached by one or two dancers for a private dance. If you likey, go for it. Otherwise, grab a chair at the stage and enjoy some inexpensive views of the various orafices from the gambit of Ticas.
