Visited the club on 9/23 in...

Visited the club on 9/23 in the late evening. Overall the club isn't bad, but it's not great either. Easy to find since it's just off I-35, but it appears the sign has fallen down. Anyway, paid the $5 cover and went in to take a seat. Probably about 20 or so patrons, and at first glance, 3 or 4 dancers. Turns out that there are some pool tables behind the bar, and probably a couple were back there.

Sat down for a bit, and never saw a waitress and had to go up and wait for the bartender to come over and get me a beer. This pretty much set the tone for the time there. Once I got back to my seat, a dancer named Joy, I believe, came immediately over. I am one who would rather just kind of unwind a bit and take in the atmosphere a bit, so it was a struggle for me to listen to her life story. It appears to be quite a hard life, and she was probably in her 40's.

Getting back to the club, there is a main stage that was being used, and a couple of side stages that weren't. Dancers went up for 2 songs with a break song in between each set. The "private" dance area is along the wall opposite where you walk in, on an elvated platform with some partitions between chairs. I partook in a couple of dances, but really the chairs just aren't really comfortable when it comes to lap dances. Dancers weren't air dances, but there wasn't much for grinding either. The dancers themselves that night were very diverse, but probably ranged from a 2 to a high of 7 (out of 10 scale).
