Hadn't been here in a while...

Hadn't been here in a while so thought I'd see what, if any changes...arrived about 9:00PM, just as things were starting to heat up a little...more and more dancers coming in; customers too. It peaks on a Friday after 11:00PM.

anyway there are some changes--for the better! A fair number of new dancers, mostly young and I'd say on the average a step up from before (and before wasn't bad!). Majority African-American but some White, some Latina, a perfect mix for my tastes.

At this time there is always two dancers on stage. They keep the rotation moving which is great because you get to check out a lot of dancers pretty quickly...and they come around after they come offstage for tips and to see if you want a private dance. At least half are VERY persuasive(in an enjoyable way!) in their efforts to get you to go for a private dance. But even if you don't want a dance, a fair number are friendly, will hang out and talk a bit, maybe have a drink with you. I finally succumbed to a private dance with a sweet young African-American lady; I actually hesitated because I thought she might be too nice and sweet to deliver a satisfying private dance. I went for the more open $20 section, for the first time. I'm happy to say I was wrong about her. She really got into it and seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. Good mileage! Four songs later I left a happy man. For my money, Club Atlantis is now one of the most enjoyable clubs in the Philly area...my first choice, for sure.
