In Cincy for business I decided to take a cab over the river to what I understand are some of the better clubs in the area. I was fairly disappointed with Brass Ass (to reiterate an earlier reviewer I too think it says "ass" rather than "mule.") As you enter the club you walk down a long hallway pass an unused bar to the back bar area. There was no cover charge or security. I order a $3 spring water and proceeded to the stage where what seemed like the best dancer on shift was dancing. (There were 9 at this time and time quickly proved she was the best.) I want to say her name was "Jamie" but I might be mis-remembering. Anyway, after tipping her a few bucks at the rail she came by and asked me if I wanted to buy her a drink. Although I had read the reviews it was my first time at the club so I played dumb to the hole scheme. Strangely, she seemed to have difficulty explaining to me the different prices and seating. (Maybe she thought I was dense...) Anyway, we agreed to a $55 drink and I selected the darkest booth that I could find. Unfortunately, there was like zero contact during the time with the exception of her thigh against mine. She was a nice girl. For instance, decided not to smoke when I told her that I didn't.) However--and lesson learned for the future--when we sat down she told me that she also didn't drink. Refund anyone? Not a chance. After a painful parade of others wanting to join us the time was up and I proceeded to head out the door to Brass Bull. She had told me that dancers there were a little bit sleazier, sometimes were drunk, etc. Had to be better than this I thought to myself and proceeded there. To recap the talent, she was probably a 7, there might have been 1 or 2 6's while the others were 5 or less. Several older/overweight ones. Not surprisingly, I guess, they seemed to be the ones giving some extra attention in the booths. Anyway, off to Brass Bull (which I will review next).
