This is the grand daddy of them all. Being a road warrior, I get to sample a lot of clubs. We had a business meeting in Detroit and were invited to the NEW Penthouse club. Since we were in Detroit, I had low expectation, and I've been to the Penthouse club in New Orleans, and it was only okay. So my expectation we set low. I couldn't have been further from the truth. The guy we met there, lets call him Jimmy, had already made this place his home away from home. Everyone knew Jimmy and they treated him like gold. So, it's possible that we had a special night becuase of Jimmy's status in the club. We had seating at a booth and there was a steady stream of girls joining us. I finally chose a cute asain girl who took me to the private dance area upstairs (you need to take an elevator to the 2nd floor). Once upstairs, I tipped the bouncer $20 to leave us alone (per my girls instructions). Then she got down to business using her hand with one mission in mind. This girl really enjoyed her job! Again YMMV, remember, we knew Jimmy. I got dances from two other dancers, neither asked me to tip the bouncer but both gave A+ dances with lots of 2-way contact. This is a must visit for anyone in the Detroit area. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this club. This is an easy Top 5 all time club for me.
