Took a detour here on the way to the Rhino because I knew this spot actually shut down for the night.

Got here just before close. Actually, they were already closed when I drove into the tiny parking lot (we're talking 3 spaces) but hadn't gotten around to locking the door. I walk in and the manager catches me out in the lobby. He thinks it over when I ask him if the club is open and says sure why not. One of the few clubs I didn't have to pay a cover for while on night shift. The next room in had a small bar, maybe a couple of chairs and doors leading to other rooms along with a set of stairs. This is the part where it makes sense to mention it's probably a converted house. I felt like I should have brought a six pack to the house party. Two girls were still dressed and one was in street clothes.

Since there was no music playing and three girls lined up asking me what I'd like to do, for a few seconds I wondered if I hadn't misunderstood what kind of club this was. Plain looking and tired but friendly. One of the girls laughed and said there were a few different dance rooms, and motioned to one around the corner. Full nude stage dances. DJ booth was behind me at the back corner in its own little room, and mirrors lined all the walls. The long and short of it was that I had the whole club to myself and my own private show for $10 in stage tips over two songs. I pulled up an armchair and took it in up close and personal, and it was a pretty entertaining set. Took off right after it was finished since it was getting late for everyone...
