...a little later the doorman saw me when I had peeked back down Custom House because I'd forgotten what club was to the left of that POS Mouse Trap. Pussycat is on the corner of Baltimore and Custom House, with Hustler Club on the other corner. I said no thanks because I'd checked the place out earlier. He said he knew that already, the girls were asking about me and I should give it another try. That gave me a little pause. Hadn't heard that one before, but even if it were true I didn't see anything good coming out of walking back in again so I took a pass and headed toward the Diamond Lounge. While I didn't find myself as brazenly insulted here as at Mouse Trap and Jewel Box, it's ridiculous to think how much more money these places could be pulling in with a few changes here and there.

Wonder why locals will fly around the country trying to see what they can see but can't be bothered to visit The Block for anything but the sake of completion? Customer service in general down here needs an overhaul, because The Block is underneath it all a tourist trap that passes for grown up entertainment. You'll see locals, but not as many as you'd think and even less getting dancer drinks and laps. People bitch and moan about Hustler Club because it has a cover charge, but it along with Norma Jeans is about the only club that could survive off The Block for very long. For a place just to chill and check out the show with or without a dancer, either of those places works out much cheaper than most on The Block. Lust and the 2 O'clock also have potential with a mellower hustle, but still practice Blockonomics a little much for my tastes.

I gave the Pussycat what I thought it generally rated in my full review, but for this little epilogue it gets some nice crusty 1's for taking a sure fire VIP session and turning it into a walk out.
