Stage left. One line review: You might be the best looking dancer in this club, and one of the best on The Block even, but that doesn't mean I'm going randomly pay out that kind of cash just for the hell of it...

This club looks a little shinier than the other block clubs. It and Oasis have a lot a chrome finish in the place, but Club Pussycat is slightly better looking between the two. Girls are, too. Walked in and stood near the ATM. I was figuring out I could buy a little more time before the hustle if I checked things out from the door or walked straight to the back if I had a clear foot path. After about a minute I decided to walk in because there was dirty blonde girl up on stage who was the spitting image from behind of someone I used to know in a familiar way. That was Layla. From the front she was close enough. That basically meant I was getting a dance from her unless she somehow screwed it up when she came around to collect her tip.

Was against the side wall on a stool camped out by a mostly empty beer bottle. Between the 2 O'clock Club and Lust I'd gotten so lit up I'd spent the time since (all the clubs around the horseshoe until Pussycat) drinking water to get myself back in shape. I was just about ready to start drinking again, but didn't want to get stuck in a club for the few minutes it would take to drink it if the place sucked. Had a pleasant quick chit chat with Layla after her set and I asked her to stop back to talk about a drink and dance. She smiled and agreed, then got into an extended chat with a dancer before she got all the way down to the end of her tip round. They both walked into the back and I took a quick glance at my watch to decide if it was worth waiting and for how long.
