Now this place looked like it had potential when I walked in. Was the only guy in there on a Friday night, and the girls were actually pretty cute across the board. Not too common a thing on The Block. When you first walk in at the top of the stairs the bar and stage is directly in front of you. Leggy brunette was up there. Think her name was Renee. She's was just shooting the breeze when I looked around through the doorway (the club keeps going off to the right and back, it would be a stage right bar if ground level or downstairs). The second she saw me she jumped right up and started dancing. Again, the place had potential.

Picked one of the many seats at the bar to choose from beside a petite brunette with a nice smile, went by Becky. So far, so good. Bartender walks up and asks if I want a drink. Tired of dropping $6 for bottled water that I'm throwing away door by door I ask for a kamikaze. They don't have them. Really? They don't have them. If I had known that most of the block bars only carry enough liquor to get guys drunk and free of their cash, I might've gotten a real drink at Hustler Club (which clearly had a full bar).

So while I'm trying to see what was behind the bar to come up with another drink other than the straight rail make me go blind variety, the bartender rolls her eyes and starts calling out for one of the holy trinity. Repeatedly. Loudly. At least in this place rather than join in the girls just looked embarrassed. Thinking that Mouse Trap had used up all my patience at being ripped into for making the mistake of walking in, I pulled a out a little money to tip the two girls and after a few pleasantries the visit was mercifully over.
