Went to Danny's on a weeknight, just to compare to my favorite club Babe's, and make sure my assessments were still correct. They were. Danny's was quite lame. The girls really spent all their time with regular-looking customers, who seemed to be middle-aged blue-collar workers mostly. I don't understand exactly what motivates a blue-collar dude (or white-collar, come to think of it) from a workplace nearby to drop in on this club instead of Babe's for his nightcap on the way home, but some do. About twelve customers were in, about ten girls were working, but about eight of the girls were really sub-sub-sub-par. There was one stunner -- Gypsy is a totally hot lady, if you don't mind fake boobies. She has nice lean legs, a curvy butt, an excellent hip-to-waist arrangement, lots of long flowing hair, the whole package. She has huge fake tits, though, which makes her a zero in my books, but many men would like her, although I have to admit that her stage presence was average at best. Also, I have surreptitiously observed her in the VIP (I even got a $40 2-for-1 from another girl just to be nearby to check Gypsy out, once) and can confirm that she is nearly zero-contact, and remains fully-clothed, during the whole VIP treatment. Consequently, it's a no-brainer; to date Gypsy would be awesome, to private-dance her would be a total waste of time. Other girls at Danny's this night ranged from disgusting to barely passable. Two black girls had younger bodies, but not good ones; the only thing that made them attractive was youth. Three or four white girls can only be described as looking like "trailer trash" (although I don't actually know their socio-economic situation or their home abode living arrangements of course -- but I said "looking like," get my point?). One other girl (one of the passable ones) remained on a couch with a customer the whole time I was in Danny's this evening. Cover is $5 plus they tell you it's a 2-drink minimum, but I left after one Coke and moved on over to Babe's (which I won't bother to review; it's still superior to Danny's by a long shot). Danny's fails. The only positive things I can say nice about Danny's are that (a) the setting is larger, more clean and nicey-nicey, with more neon and mirrors, than other clubs in Jackson, and (b) the music is quieter, so if it's important to you to be able to talk politics or business at a strip club then maybe you'd like to consider this place. Oh, another thing. The girls just HAVE NO DAMNED SENSE OF HUMOR AT ALL. Wise-crack with 'em and they think you're being bitchy and storm off because they don't get the joke. Very annoying.
