sinclair's Review

I went to the Long Branch Saloon at 00:40 on a Friday night. This strip club is a metal building located out in the farm fields ten minutes west of Vicksburg. The parking lot was gravel and had some large puddles to navigate around. There was a $10 cover charge to get in. There were two pool tables near the door. The right side of the room had a stage with two poles. There were two stages that looked like giant birdcages in the middle of the room, but they were not used. The DJ booth is in the back right corner. The bar is on the back wall. Sincweisers were $4. The locals completely drank the bar out of Busch Light. There was no food served, but there was a food truck called Munch Boxx in the parking lot near the door. The food truck only had two chicken items offered that evening. The ATM had a $200 maximum withdrawal and charged a $4.95 fee. The inside of the Long Branch Saloon was very smoky due to no indoor smoking laws in Louisiana.

There were four dancers working. All four were white, at least in their thirties, and had wear and tear from producing offspring. I would not rate any of them above a 5. The best looking women in the club were the civilian women. Long Branch Saloon seems to be as much of a weekend hangout for young locals as it is a strip club. It almost seemed like there were more eyes watching the two billiard tables as there were watching the stage. Dancers would do two-song sets on stage, getting topless before the second song began. The stage would be empty for one song between stage sets. Some of the dancers would come off of the stage during their stage shows and give the tippers mini lap dances.

The private dance area is through a doorway on the left wall. There are a half a dozen couches inside of the room. Private dances were quoted to me as $40 per song or three for $100 by Emerald. I thought these prices were quite ridiculous considering this strip club is in the middle of nowhere and the visual quality of the talent is not very high. I had an interesting visit, but I don't think I would return to the Long Branch Saloon.
