...So after speeding back over from Platinum Plus and pulling into the lot the sounds of music had stopped. Customers and dancers were walking out in street clothes and I figured the odds were not good I'd be able to catch that VIP set with Paige. But since it was my only night in town I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Swung into an empty parking space, and got spotted by a bouncer who walked up after I made eye contact. Since the club was obviously shutting down I asked if the place was still open for lap dances. The guy said he didn't know about that, but the owner might be willing to keep the place open if I bought a VIP. Music to my ears. He walked back inside and I did a quick double check of the cash on hand (still in the car) to make sure there was enough to pay up. A couple of minutes later he walks back out to let me know the owner wasn't going to keep the place open and Paige had already taken off for the night. On the latter point we'll never know, but not agreeing to keep the club open was a bit of a surprise since so many places are willing to keep a few people around as long as customers are parting with cash. It was doubly annoying since I'd walked away from a very good set of dances to check out a club half a day removed from its prime hours. Oh well. A bird in the hands...

Decided to split the review to reflect two visits with very different outcomes. Still a quality club for talent and mileage after the facelift, and it will be interesting to see how it continues to evolve.
