Formerly known as the Country Palace, Angels is a low-contact, low-pressure, laid-back place where you can go have a beer watch some pretty girls take off their clothes. Anyone who remembers the old Mermaid Lounge (formerly of downtown, moved later to the current location of Deja Vu on Ravine Rd.) will feel at home here. In fact, some of the girls who used to grace the Mermaid came here when it closed a couple of years ago -- perhaps not up for the contact level at the 'Vu. Girls are friendly, and some are quite good looking. But private dances are all air, so if you're looking for contact, try elsewhere. (Of course, that goes for most of Western Michigan.)
