Travelers avoid. Simply put, not that great of a place. If the DJ doesn't convince you to walk out, the lack of action on stage will. Got about three steps inside and my first impression was the place was pretty chill.
A slim guy walks up (didn't know who he was at the time but guessed he was staff) and decides he wants to frisk me. No big deal. But then he wants to make it a big production and pats me down from both sides taking his time to do it. Strike one. There is nothing going on at the stage, so I sit at the bar and wait for something interesting to happen. A couple of girls who looked like dancers just kind of sat around and the place was really dull. Strike two. The previous review said something about the bartender being named Dalia and being the only good looking girl in the place. That sounds about right. Think there were table top gambling machines in the bar, but it wasn't time to throw my money away on that yet. Still had clubs to see.
Spent a few minutes looking out around at the place, then the stage, then my watch and finally the DJ (a.k.a. Mr. Frisky) gets up and announces a girl as time ticks by. Not the girl I would've picked to send up there. Strike three. This spot might be of interest if you're looking for more of an ethnic feel, along with the Pussycat Lounge. Still a bad club, but you'll see more of a mix in the customers here toward the minority than in other places if it matters. Tipped the bartender for looking pretty (and I think I'd bought a shot by then) and headed towards Glitter Gulch down on Fremont. This was the second stop of the night after the train wreck that is Cheerleaders, and I was hoping things couldn't get any worse on the club front...
