Drove around the block a few...

Drove around the block a few times before I found the place. It's on an access road leading to the highway, in a strip of buildings to the left of a large parking garage. The parking lot was gated but one side was open. The club has an old fashioned, smoking room kind of feel to it. Lots of drapery and wood finish throughout. The bar is in the center of the club and there are a number of small tables with pretty comfortable chairs throughout. There look to be spots along the wall where dances take place, but since I didn't get any dances here I can't say for sure. Got the feeling there wasn't much in the way of mileage here and I didn't have a lot of time.

The stage area is really not a stage per se, it's more like a roped off section of the main floor where the dancers can walk up and down from a draped doorway on the far left wall. There is a pole near the end of the roped off section, and it's an interesting setup because you can literally walk right up to them while they're doing their set and basically get a stand up dance. They also lean over the separators (like the ropes at banks and movie theaters) to give mini dances to guys seated close, and at least one dancers jumped right over into a guy's lap. I had a dancer that had kind of locked onto me so I didn't get the front row action I might've otherwise, but she was pretty intriguing so far as friendly club chit chat goes and it was a fair trade. That is except for the smoking hot blonde with a short bob and showstopping stage presence. A 10 if anywhere on the charts, which was a good thing considering most of the girls on deck were average until that point. Didn't catch a name, but you can't miss her.

It was early evening, so the girls were progressively better looking as I was getting ready to leave and more of the night shift filtered in. I could see myself being a regular here, which is something I don't say about a lot of places especially with the uneven bunch of clubs I ran across in NC.
