I'm not sure what to say about the Tropicana that hasn't already been said before. This place is exactly the sort of backwoods, roadhouse dive that you would suspect it is. Well off the beaten track though just off the the Highway if you are paying attention, it lacks most any quality that would make it a fun place to just hang out. Stage dancing is erratic and not very inspired. Service is slow when it exists at all. And neither the patrons nor the dancers are a very inspiring lot. In truth, it isn't much more run down than a lot of other clubs of its type. The chairs and tables were functional and not obviously filthy. Even the bathroom wasn't awful by strip club standards.

There is really very little reason to visit this club with one big exception: mileage. Contact is very high and very hands-on and two-way. I was almost afraid to tip a couple of the girls for fear that I would be getting far too intimate (for my tastes) with them. Several of the other patrons had no such qualms and gladly traded a dollar or two for a special treat. Couple of girls here were reasonably attractive and I eventually decided I would go back to the VIP area with one of them. While the place has no cover, there is a $10 charge for a wristband which gives you unlimited access to the back room. The back room is very private and I never saw an indication that any of the club employees were likely to patrol it. You might imagine that there would be a bit more than a dance available under these circumstances and I will not attempt to convince you otherwise. I would imagine the menu would vary from dancer to dancer but the young lady I chose was very friendly. While the dances are not cheap, they are not really expensive given the level of service/contact involved.

One of the questions I always ask myself when reviewing a club is how likely I would be to return. When it comes to the Tropicana, I'm just not sure how to answer that question. It is a bit of a drive and it isn't all that much fun in most respects. On the other hand, if I were looking for maximum contact, I guess I might give it a try again. So if you are in the mood and in the area, you might check it out. If nothing else, it is an experience.
