This is an update of my review of July 2007. The Body Shop is still in the same location about 200 yards south of the Emlenton 1-80 exit, and still looks a little tattered (well, a lot tattered) from the street.
But this remains a good club. About 1/2 the customers are truck drivers, and I was concerned that the depression in independent trucking would have a very bad effect on the Body Shop; NOT TRUE - on a Wednesday evening there were 4 day shift and 6 night shift dancers and all were attractive and good. SUPRISINGLY, there were enough customers on a Wednesday evening to have two dancers working the stage at once... (Have our nation's truckers given up driving and now taken to T & A full time ??)
The cover remains $10.00 and there is still a strict prohibition of alcohol of any kind (BYOB means Coke or water) Lap and Private dances remain $20.00 or 3 for $40.00 - the lap dances are watched and have a measured level of contact - the private dances are seldom purchased (I am glad to report) and remain a slightly creepy peep show behind glass (The dancers do seem to perform harder behind glass). Stage lighting is perfect and the sound is only a little too loud - dancers pick their own music and hip hop is (thankfully) uncommon. The A/C works well...
