I finally got a chance to check this club out during an extended-weekend trip to NYC, and let me tell you that, for a change, it easily lives up to the hype and then some. The $50 cover (plus $20 for new members) seems a bit steep at first, but it does include a buffet, unlimited drinks, shows (more on them later) and of course--the eye candy. From the moment you walk in the door and are surrounded by stunning lingerie-clad women you know that you are in for a treat.

The first stop is the main room, which is tastefully appointed with comfy couches and a pleasantly low-pressure atmosphere. I especially appreciated that the music was not turned up too loud, which makes it much easier to "mingle" and start chatting up some of the many ladies available. And available they are--the club does a good job of balancing out the ratio so that no guy is alone for too long. Even if you don't see a girl that's quite your type at first, just wait a moment and an attractive beauty will probably return from the lapdance room. It's pretty unlikely that anyone will be disappointed in the selection of girls available, given that a) just about every girl is SMOKING hot and b) the club has an incredible diversity, in terms of just about everything--nationality (Americans and Eastern Europeans seem predominant, but Asians and Latinos are also well-represented), body type (cute, brunette, and "petite" to blonde and full-chested, and everything in between), and personality (from sexy porn-star feel to a more "innocent coed" style :-). Whatever one's preferences are, I found all girls to be not only beautiful, but very friendly and open to conversation--and they'll remember you when you come back later in the week (as I did). Some girls are a bit more forward than others about asking for dances, but here again, the atmosphere is very low-pressure and simply saying "no, thanks" will not offend anyone. Overall, the dancers' attitudes really add a lot to the experience and makes it much more personal than your average strip club.

Once you find a girl to your liking, it's time to go back to one of two rooms for the main attraction--the lapdances, which are a standard $20 for a topless dance, or $40 all nude. Either way, all dances are full-contact and always well worth the money. In my two visits I can honestly say I had only one dance that was merely OK, and the rest spectacular. Touching and participation is allowed or even encouraged, though to what degree depends on the particular dancer one is with. The end of the lapdances is really the only "downside" of the club that I found. Each $20 dance lasts for one full song (about 3-4 minutes), but some of the girls are hit-or-miss when it comes to asking if you'd like to go for another song--and before I knew it, I'd shelled out $100! But then again, this "downside" is usually a moot point, as most of the time, if you connect well with a dancer, you'll probably want a second, third, and fourth dance anyway. :-)
