First things first. Unless you are in Goldsboro already, skip the town altogether. Nothing personal, but out of three clubs in this town two were closed because they apparently tell time by the stars and the one that was open (this one) was only redeemed by having alcohol behind the bar. So I get there and really consider driving off without going in. Walked into a small lobby (just about every club in NC has one of these) complete with a full body metal detector and a framed certificate about the club being trained in some sort of state liquor certification program. I had time to read it while the door girl was intently studying my drivers license (see my review of Sid's for the ID check rant). So I get the feeling I got charged a non-local rate since it was $10+ and the brunette door girl had the nerve to ask for a tip (for being annoying I suppose). On second thought, it could have been because she was the best looking girl in the club but who knew at the time? That took another 10 seconds.

The club was bigger than you'd think, with 2/3 of the main room taken up by a stage that was rectangular and L-shaped because there was a raised area behind it that looked like the DJ booth. The bar was against the right wall and was fairly well stocked. There was also a liquor closet where premium liquor was being sold by the bottle (my guess since there were little yellow liquor store price labels on the bottle). Or it could have been their refill stash, but putting that much liquor a chair smash away without good reason is a little risky. In the back area there were about 3 or 4 pool tables, all of them occupied and the club was pretty busy for a weeknight. Maybe because the other two clubs in town had turned into pumpkins at midnight? Anyhow, the girls on stage were not going to hold my interest and the one I tipped soon disappeared in back. I saw the manager/bouncer trying to wave her out while glancing over at me as if to say the only guy tipping at the stage was checking his watch and chugging his drink. Red Bull gone. Customer gone. 5 minutes flat.
